Firstly let's start with what is AI, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the process of making a computer system that can perform tasks that ordinarily require human intelligence, such as visual perception, natural language understanding, and decision-making. AI research deals with the question of how to create computers that are capable of intelligent behaviour.
In practical terms, AI applications can be deployed in a number of ways, including:
1. Machine learning: This is a method of teaching computers to learn from data, without being explicitly programmed.
2. Neural networks: These are networks of simple processing units, which can learn to perform tasks by example.
3. Robotics: This involves the use of robots to carry out tasks that would otherwise be difficult or impossible for humans to do.
4. Predictive analytics: This is a method of using artificial intelligence to make predictions about future events, trends, and behaviours.
5. Natural language processing: This is the ability of computers to understand human language and respond in a way that is natural for humans.
It may sound confusing but don't worry, the engineering team handle the confusing side of it then we simply use display some suggestions when a shift note or incident report is written, we will never use AI to write a complete shift note or incident report.
How good is the AI? Well the above definition was written by our AI, and we will ask it a few more questions including what is a support worker shift note.
Please note, we have not yet implemented this feature as we are continuing to fine-tune its ability before we release it to our users.
